Langley House Reception

Serious Medical Emergency?
If you have a serious medical emergency, severe chest pain, serious difficulty with breathing, collapse or profuse bleeding – call 999.

Consultations are by appointment at the surgery. 50% of our appointments with a doctor are what we call Pre-Bookable, this means that they can be booked up to a month in advance (subject to availablilty). Other appointments are either bookable on the day or the day before eg. if you wanted to see a doctor on Wednesday you would need to phone on the Tuesday or there may be some availability on the day. Appointments for Nurses can be booked at any time, however these cannot be booked online. You can make appointments by:

Note that we do not accept appointment requests via email or fax. If you arrive at the surgery without  an appointment, you will be asked to make alternative arrangements or you may be subject to a long wait.

The Receptionists do their best to satisfy all requests to see the Doctor and you will be given the first appointment available. To avoid confusion, please tell the receptionist if more than one person needs an appointment.

When making an appointment online we cannot always guarantee that the Doctor you are wanting to see will necessarily be in clinic. In the case of annual leave a locum will be covering. Also please be careful to note which surgery you are actually making the appointment for. Several patients turn up at Langley House having booked the appointment for Bosham.

On arrival at the surgery, please report to the Receptionist, otherwise the Doctor will not know you have arrived.

Urgent cases are seen as soon as possible on the same day, but please do not abuse this facility.

If you cannot keep your appointment, please let the Receptionist know as soon as possible. Appointments are in great demand and someone else may benefit from your cancellation.

Remember, if you need advice you can call NHS 111 at anytime, 24hrs/day.

We can now offer Extended Access Appointments for those who wish to see the Doctor before they go to work in the mornings or who simply prefer an early appointment. These are held at our Bosham Surgery Monday to Friday from 7 am. Please click on this link GP Timetable to access a full timetable of our GP’s clinics.
